CEDAR’s Womble enters second year on NACHA Business Payments Advisory Committee

February, 2019 Atlanta, GA. — Tom Womble, VP Product and Account Management, of CEDAR CX Technologies, is entering his second year on the Payment Innovation Alliance Strategic Advisory Committee for NACHA.

Tom WombleNACHA, the Electronic Payments Association, serves as trustee of the ACH Network, managing the development, administration, and rules for the payment network that universally connects thousands of financial institutions in the nation.

Womble, a NACHA member for the past nine years, applied for the committee position in August 2017 and was reelected by the global organization’s membership in November for a two-year term covering 2018 and 2019.

“The Payment Innovation Alliance is a group of industry leaders that share best practices for solving customer payment issues and assist NACHA with driving the direction of innovative ACH payment process changes that serve B2B, B2C, and P2P markets.” Womble said. “It is a pleasure to serve with this group of industry leaders and help companies develop efficient processes and create seamless customer experiences.”

Through monthly committee meetings, calls and conferences, Womble works with industry peers to advance technologies and drive innovation in the business-to-business invoicing and payments industry. He also plans to work with the committee to drive down the cost of inefficient business processes and costs related to manual processing that he says are rampant throughout the business-to-business invoicing and payment ecosystem.
