Pete Kenning joined CEDAR in 1996 as a member of the Board of Directors and the company’s initial investment group. After five years of board level leadership, he joined the executive management team as President in 2001 and CEO in 2004. During his tenure at CEDAR, Pete has been responsible for corporate finance, sales, and strategic product direction. In 2001, along with CEDAR COO John DiMarco, they directed CEDAR’s successful conversion from an enterprise software provider to the current Hosted/Managed Services provider model and developed many of the company’s key account relationships. Pete’s current focus is expanding CEDAR’s management and staff to support a rapid growth strategy driven by market demand for integrated communications and servicing technologies to support Omni-channel output that is personally relevant, regulatory compliant and able to support complex products and service interactions with clarity and calls to action.
Prior to joining CEDAR full-time in 2001, Pete was a partner and co-founder in 1989 of the JansKen Group, Inc. At JansKen, Pete specialized in strategic planning and corporate finance consulting services to early-stage companies in technology, retail, restaurants, and manufacturing.
