CEDAR is a leading provider of an innovative generation of powerful Private-Cloud-Based Managed Services solutions for Strategic Document Outsourcing (SDO), Customer Communications Management (CCM), Electronic Invoice Presentment & Payment (EIPP) and Electronic Bill Presentment & Payment (EBPP), reshaping the way companies do business with their customers and partners. We are seeking a Technical BA that will partner with Technical Client Implementation Managers for the delivery of all assigned below responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares technical specification documents, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, API documentation using CEDAR’s standard tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA)
  • Performs data analysis and defines data mappings with the project Business BA
  • Translates business requirements into technical requirements and create EPICS, and Tasks
  • Interacts with development teams to convey technical requirements
  • Gain in-depth feature-level understanding of CEDAR’s platforms
  • Assist in analyzing and understanding the scope of client implementation projects and identify product gaps and constraints
  • Perform preliminary investigation and work with respective component owner to resolve the technical issues
  • Use CEDAR internal tools to setup metadata, letter templates, configure data mappings and configure APIs required for new implementations
  • Helps with application, system, functional and regression testing
  • Contributes to testing phases for new client implementation projects including UAT testing as needed

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of business analysis or systems analysis experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills – ability to analyze semantic meaning and organization of complex ideas
  • Experience with writing business requirements, technical specification documents and user stories
  • Must be able and willing to travel to client sites as required (Approx. 10% domestic)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in writing SQL queries to access data from an Oracle database.
  • Basic Knowledge of XML and JSON are preferred
  • Hands on experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall development environments
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger UI, SOAP UI, and SOAP Sonar

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
